Welcome

Hi there. This is a trial site of web servers and content management systems on a server in Bondi, Australia.

The server is runnning IIS as the main server as well as Apache and Tomcat on separate ports.

This site is driven by the CMS Joomla, an open source content management system using php and the mysql database. Joomla is very widely used, it can be customised with extensions and plugins and there are a lot of developers contributing thousands of modules to extend its functionality. 

The blog is run by Wordpress, an incredibly easy to use publishing platform, also open source.

Other CMS running on this server are DotNetNuke, Drupal and Get Simple. 

On the right are my most recent Twitter comments, which I am collecting and analysing using the ThinkUp app on this server. 

There is also a digital asset management system (DAM) called Razuna installed here.

I am playing around with some location based services on the left, including Google Latitude for real time tracking, Instamapper and Foursquare.

There are some articles about gadgets and about printing and publishing in the blog.

In the picture galleries are images from Bondi, the famous Guitar Crazy / Coogee United soccer teams, various other snapshots, and photos from trips in Australia and abroad (in the registered section).
